Step One: Open up a new file in Paint Shop Pro and design your brush. Make sure that your image is less than 500 by 500 pixels in size because that is the largest sized image you can use for a brush in paint shop pro. For this tutorial I'm going to use this image as my brush:
Step Two : Go to file -> Export -> Custom brush
Step Three Enter a title for your brush and click ok to save your brush
Tip for making Brushes
Always use black and grey colors when making your brushes. I always use these colors:
because when you go to use your brushes the coloring is closer to the color picked. Example:
