    Told Secrets History

In March 2004, I was inducted into the Junior Beta Club (your probably thinking,"Whats does this got to with this site?" wait, you'll see). When you get into the Junoir Beta Club or Beta Club, you are given an email address and a free webpage. I had never had a website before and started playing around with the three pages that I was given. I created some stuff and then left webdesigning for a while. In the Summer of 2004, I started messing around with the site again, and learn HTML, CSS and about the "Doll/Grahpics" world, and I became really interested. So I started making dolls and offering them on my betaweb site. It was really fun, I decided in The Fall of 2004 I needed more space, so I got a account with >>Freewebs .
I started with a pagebuilder site until I learn Frames and Iframes. That freewebs account would later become Yummy Magic, my first "real site". Yummy Magic was a graphics/dolls site that I worked on for about a year and a half. I eventually closed Yummy Magic because a lot of the content was outdated, the HTML coding was horrible, and I lacked the time fix everything that need to be fixed.
After taking a few months of from webdesigning, I got back into it again. I started all over with a new site, Told Secrets. I decided this time that wasn't going to have a graphics/doll site, I was going to have a blog. I figured it was would be easier to maintain and update. Told Secrets started out on a freewebs account just like Yummy Magic, but this time freewebs was too much of a hassle for what I wanted to do (mainly because on freewebs you can't have .php files, which means no php includes, which makes changing layouts a nightmare). In December 2006 I gathered the courage to ask my parents if I could buy on domain and hosting for a site, and they said yes. (I had to ask my parents because I needed to borrow their debit card to buy the domain and hosting with.) In early 2007 I bought the domain, www.toldsecrets.org, and hosting from >>1 and 1.
