    What are Transparency Blocks?

    The Transparency blocks are the little blocks in the background of image in Paint Shop Pro that let you know the background in that image is transparent. The default in PSP9 is a gray and white pattern. Here is an example: Example of Transparency blocks

    Why would I want to change the color of the transparency blocks?

    To make it easier on your eyes to when working with certain colors.
    Step 1:
    Go to File -> Preferences File to Preferences
    Step 2: Click on General Program Preferences, then click on the Transparency and Shading Tab.
